Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using findfound, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

findfound is a personal organization app that helps you catalog the contents of storage boxes using photos and AI-powered identification. The app stores your data locally on your device and optionally in your private iCloud account.

Subscriptions and Purchases

findfound offers a free tier with limited features (3 boxes, 15 items per box). Optional paid plans — monthly, yearly, and lifetime — unlock unlimited usage.

  • Payments are processed through your Apple ID account via the App Store.
  • Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

AI-Powered Features

Item photos may be sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI) for automatic identification. These services process the image and return a name and description. No personal data is sent with the image, and photo metadata is stripped before upload.

AI-generated names and descriptions are provided as-is and may not always be accurate. You can edit them at any time.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos, names, descriptions, and other content you create in the app. We do not claim any rights over your content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app or its AI features for unlawful purposes, to generate harmful content, or to attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures.

Disclaimer

findfound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, iCloud issues, or app deletion. We recommend keeping important records backed up independently.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
